Nicole Vanasse, Hair Peace Systems founder and creator began making her hair peaces out of her own necessity. Eleven years ago she was diagnosed with alopecia areata. After experiencing much frustration with wigs that were too hot, too difficult to style or obviously fake, she began making her own.
Nicole simultaneously researched conventional medical treatments for alopecia only to find there were none. More recently, she began exploring holistic medicine and realized the importance of balance in one's life and health.
As a result, Nicole began studying aromatherapy and is in the process of receiving her certification as an aromatherapist. She believes holistic treatments are critical to bring about balance and health. Therefore, she offers both services to her clients - customized Hair Peace Systems and customized therapeutic aromatherapy blends.
