performed through a technique similar to the "laying
on of hands." It is both a powerful and gentle
healing technique. A typical Reiki treatment involves
the placement of the practitionerís hands in
specific hand positions at multiple locations above
or lightly on the body. Reiki is performed over oneís
clothes, so there is no need to disrobe. It is gentle
and entirely painless. At the end of a treatment, it
is common to feel calm and deeply relaxed.

Reiki is

alleviate aches and pains, emotional blockages, speed
the healing process as well as to help alleviate the
symptoms/effects of cancer, arthritis, diabetes and
