Peter earned a BS from the University of Rhode Island and a Master’s Degree in Holistic Counseling from Salve Regina University. He is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Professional (LCDP) and
has over ten years experience as a substance abuse counselor, working with adolescents and adults. In addition he is a Certified Co-Occuring Disorders Professional (CCDP).
He has provided services for the Phoenix Academy at Wallum Lake, CODAC, Newport County Community Mental Health Center and South Shore Center.
Peter studied Narrative Healing with Dr Louis Mehl-Madrona MD, PhD and the Coyote Institute. He is certified as a hypnotherapist with the National Guild of Hypnotists. He has been active with spiritual communities in Southern RI, participating in Drum Circles, Sweat Lodges, Journeying, Healing Circles (Hochoka) and Meditation Groups.
